This all going on unexpectedly while mother was here on holiday for two weeks.  And it's been raining ~ we needed it, driest winter since the 40s, so they say. During all this one of the stray roof cats got sick, but my wonderful vet kept her there until she was ready to go back out with the others. She's doing fine.
